Here are 10 things that might be helpful to you, when dealing with cached files on the DJI RC Pro. Using an SD card to store your cached video recordings frees up space to take screen recordings and screen shots (since they are saved to the internal storage). Also, transferring cached files to a computer from an SD card might suit your workflow better, as digging around the android file system for them, from a computer directly plugged into the RC Pro, can often be tedious.

this is *nearly exactly the video i was looking for. thanks for putitng this together, not a lot of content like this. finding myself in a weird situ with RC Pro now though. have cleared my cache and other locations you mentioned, but still have like 19.2 of 19.9gb occupied by "other data" and cannot seem to get this cleared - any insights on this? thanks man

Great information Kris. I recorded a cache file on my Mavic 3, wad was able to copy it to the SD card, BUT when I tried to play it on my Windows computer, it gave me an error that Windows Media was not able to play the file. It plays fine on the RC Pro, just not on a Windows computer. Have you ever had this problem?

Hi, my sd card got corrupted somehow and i cant open alot of videos. But i have them on my cache on the dji fly app. Is there a way to save them in a resolution that i shot it with? (4k) right now its showing as low quality

They have made this unbelievable hard. Dji should have an option to merge the audio with the full res video automatically. It is 2024.

I don't see why copying cache files from the internal memory to the SD card is necessary at all. Especially since it is very cumbersome via BT. In the FlyApp, under "Profile" and "Settings", it is easy to select that the video cache files should be saved directly to the SD card, that's it. Since the internal memory has only limited capacity, it makes sense to use an SD card for the cache files if it is available.

Maybe I have this wrong. From what I understood, unless you format SD card in the RC Pro it will not work as a cache.
