water would have been from the hopper and ran into the small hole directly under the mixer. the water hookup is actually the water drain. the water was used to help prevent pre ignition when running on kerosene. they were warmed up on gas then slowly switched over to kerosene

The water valve on the mixer takes water from the cooling hopper and is used when the engine is working hard. Water injection way before their time. If you have the engine working under load and just open the water valve a little, you should hear the engine change note (quieter) and I am told that it will also be an increase in power. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺.

Gidday, my good friend over here in Australia has recently picked one of these up at an auction, we where wondering if you have any pointers as to why we can't get her to fire?

It appears to have a different ignition to yourse

Can’t hear a single word you’re saying. Would love to have heard the narrative.
