Wow - eye-opener for me. I know there are lots of real factors in why we all prefer a particular camera, and I've always preferred Drift. But, as I'm not happy with 2'30" from my drift batteries - the GoPro battery life... it is a real shock to me that it's so short!!

Wow that’s a pretty short battery life. Based on a friend’s stabilized footage of the 7, i was quite impressed by the image quality, but I can’t really tear myself away from the 2.5-3 hr run times i get on the Drift Ghost-S on the same 1080p60.

And i was also surprised a simple mic adaptor could possible also affect battery life? Odd.

Interesting, I get just over an hour from my Sony, but I’ve started plugging it into my power pack, now the only limiting factor is the memory card!

so in real world conditions i think 1 hour to 1 hour 15 is realistic not that bad. thanks for doing this did not think you would make it into a video haha
