My English teacher in high school said I'll probably be a baby mama, having 2 or more baby daddies, on welfare and won't get an above minimum wage job because I got an F on some of my assignments knowing I was learning disabled. My mom complained to the school about it had me put into another class. Almost 30 years later, I'm a wife, mother of 2, no baby daddies because I married before I carried, my husband is the lieutenant of the fire department and I'm a professional piercer and own my piercing studio which is always busy 6 days a week, closed on Sundays and I volunteer at the soup kitchen in my family's church every Tuesday and about a year ago I saw the English teacher who put me down in school, in line with the other homeless people and when she got her plate I told her who I was and she apologized for saying that to me then. I told her I already forgiven her and held no grudge towards her because it drains positive energy from me and God wanted me to. Forgive but not forget.

You never listen to people like that. My mom was told by a doctor that I would struggle to graduate high school and I'd never go to college or hold a professional job. My mom didn't tell me this till I finished college.

Her name alone exudes success. My first grade teacher told me you might not get out of my class ever. I went to her funeral she motivated me to be a better me than anyone could ever imagine.
