Thanks for this, going to check out the aluminum stand and the Osmo now, then back to drawing. I love this app and have done since you first put it on ITunes for downloading. For my first stand, I built a little platform, just like the ones you built, only I used Lego's. Since I paint miniatures, my iPhone was perfect. I now have a mini iPad (naturally) and it's easier to position because it's lighter. I can't wait to use version 9. Regards, Linda

how about using a usb camera on a PC? have the PC monitor in front facing you with the usb camera over head facing down?

I’ve been using a homemade stand, but I travel a lot and am trying to find a smaller, more lightweight solution. I purchased the OSMO, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it work for a 9 x 12” painting… I’ve watched this video and others, but no one shows the whole process, from selecting an image to sizing and drawing it in perspective for a 9x12. I am reasonably techy, but I’m totally stumped.

The le geek is great but I can’t figure out how to make my ipad stay in the stand when I want to draw on a slope-it slides out? Any suggestions?

I bought the ipad stand. I want to trace a 9x12. Do I put it 9 inches up or 12? I find Im not getting the true measurements...frustrating
