So, I've had an idea for the series.

Imagine, if you will, a Trainer who has travelled the world, conquered the Leagues. Hailing from Unova, be reformed Team Plasma into the Plasma Legion, a group filled with strong Trainers such as the likes of Silver and Dawn. They've obtained a multitude of legendary Pokemon, and yet their headquarters features it's own Pokemon League and an Elite Four comprised of their leaders most trusted friends. They all travelled the same path through Unova.
The Champion. The one who reigns supreme.
The one who arranged the last several tournaments, who has nearly completed the National Pokedex, has travelled though countless realities, discovered a special Key Stone (the Insurgence Stone) that can Mega Evolve multiple Pokémon during battle,  and the power he has accumulated makes Eclipsadra seem like nothing at all. While visiting Orre, he acquired a Snag Machine that has shut down countless criminals' operations. While attending a camp several years ago in Kanto, Delta met his partner, a Pichu. After years of travelling, he and Raichu have become an unstoppable team. And now, with Reshiram by his side, no one has ever stood in his way. He's always there to support people in need, as are his friends. Delta, Sasha, Magnus, Audrey and Tobias, the commanders of the Legion, now presiding over the tournament, have decided they gave their puppet Ted too much leeway. It's time to finish him.

So they sent him an invitation to the Legion's headquarters to attempt to defeat their League. But it's simply a ruse to try and liberate Eclipsadra from him.

And it's never been easy for any challenger.
Tobias, a man of myths, is second to none on his knowledge of ancient Sinnoh. He's a by-the-book person who craves knowledge. His specialty is Dark and Steel types, and his partners are a Darkrai and Mega Lucario. Audrey is a ruthless tactician who specializes in the Psychic and Ghost types. Her partners, Mega Gengar and Cresselia, can tear opponents apart, whether it be from wearing them down, or delivering swift, devastating strikes. Magnus is a pure powerhouse that blasts his opponents into submission. He has a defiant, rebellious personality, but hisperseverance and strength are admired by even the greatest of his enemies. His Mega Gyarados and Feraligatr are famous among Water types, but he has a handful of other Pokemon as well. Sasha is a passionate, upbeat person who simply wants the world at peace. She tires of fighting between people and Pokémon, and will only do so when necessary to the Legion's utopian cause. Her Togekiss and Mega Lopunny can get almost any job done. Delta's wish is to to amass enough power so he can create a utopia where everyone can live in peace, people and Pokémon alike. He believes that mercy is for people that can't solve their own problems, and he believes in his companions, people and Pokémon alike, with all of his heart. He yearns for the day when his friends no longer have to suffer for any reason. He strives for perfection, and hates corruption. He has come to sympathize with Giratina, however, and has befriended the banished one with open arms. His true aim is to convince Arceus to recreate the world without corruption.

And he will stop at absolutely nothing to achieve that goal.
He uses a massive variety of Pokemon, but his omnipresent companions are a Kantoan Raichu, his partner since the beginning through thick and thin, Samurott,  as well as Reshiram, who he has created a single Reshiramite for its use alone.
