I dont see the logic of buying a notch phone only to hide it. If you hate you hate it no need of buying it and hide it. Although LG stated that their the first people to invite the notch before Apple. The software optimization of Oppo R15 Pro on the notch totally unique atleast no copy & paste like typical Chinese phones.
If LG7 Thinq could apply better functionality of the notch, Notch haters will actually buy it pronto!!!

That is quite a cool use of the notch. I don't like it but see it as a price to pay until tech advances. If you want the phone you are going to tolerate it, it is just the same compromise we make often when we buy things. Great vid Ben.

I don't understand why people hate the notch...all mobile companies are putting their best efforts to offer higher screen to body ratio...I think we all should appreciate it rather then hating it...As technology advances the Notch will also disappear...🤞

The Notch actually came out on an Android phone 1st, Ben. The Essential PH1 and the Sharp Aquos S2.

Great analysis, that's what a good reviewer should do: compare with other phones instead of just focus at the phone in hand.

Don't forget about the Essential Phone which was the phone with the first Notch. Also the Essential Phone let's you make all apps and videos to go past the Notch.

Okay, you almost have me convinced. I guess that the notch is not limited to nachos...lol. There are some budget phones that do not have the notch, such as the Nuu Mobile G3, admittedly it is only a 5.7 inch display. However, you did provide a very convincing argument for the notch, when used correctly, rather than to try and look like a Crapple product simply for imitations sake.
