Even though we are living off-grid in tight quarters, we are having a great time so far! We really don't get any internet or cell phone signal so we are making the most of it :-) We know this is one of our longer videos so if you are only interested in one topic, please see the time stamps in the description! Hope you are all having a wonderful summer.

Thank you for sharing. It’s scary deciding to go off grid, especially as a woman by myself but I feel much better after watching your video and others like it. Thank you so much for that.

I was thinking. Okay Mister Happy Pants, and then you said "Help Me" and I laughed, hysterically too, I might add. The first video here I've seen and you've almost inspired me to subscribe, I'll check some more out and see if you're just as happy.

The title of this video made me SMILE.  Sorry that Rich was suffering through a no-coffee morning.  I'm pretty sure you have white pines on your Adirondack property, so you might want to experiment making pine needle tea (lots of recipe ideas on the internet).  I don't think it will satisfy his need for caffeine; however, I understand it is very high in Vitamin C.  Your ingenuity and hard work to make your camp site permanent and comfortable will pay off in your future visits.  Great job, Kathy and Rich.

Enclosing the awning like that is brilliant.

That looms like a beautiful spot. Lots of work now but once the main systems are in place you will have a nice relaxing summer home. ATB

When I get out there in my mobile home I will be searching for pallets left out on road. That might be easier since they are already put together.

It gets so hot without some trees. Where I'm parked getting some repairs there are no trees and it is so hot by noon. It had been in the 00s and on here over a 100. Thank goodness I have my awning. My Generator isn't working. My cousin got it brand new from home Depot and it only worked for about 15 min. I'm going to take it back and get a higher wattage. Your place is looking very nice. Makes all the hard work worth it!

We keep a jar of Folger's Crystals in the RV for just such a catastrophe. It has saved us more than once :-)

Great vlog! The deck turned out nice and that is such a good idea to use the mesh to keep the bugs out! Great video! Enjoyed!
