The final cutscene will always have me close to tears because the pure relief in Furina's voice when she said "The prophecy was wrong" hits me so hard. She didn't deserve any of what happened.

Okay the execution cutscene will forever be the saddest to me. ESPECIALLY Focalors’ message to Furina.
“Thank you, Furina. For all you’ve done. From this moment on, please live happily as a human. Just as I wished we could.”
Imagine spending *five hundred* years playing the role of someone you’re not. All you know is that a god commanded you to, and if you don’t comply, your entire nation will be wiped, leaving you utterly alone. And so you play the part, every day being agonizingly mundane. Again, you have had no contact from the god since the very beginning. Would that not be gutting?
So when Furina finally gets the message from Focalors, it hits so hard to me. Focalors is recognizing the near-impossible task she set for her human actress and expressing how grateful she is that Furina played her part. It’s her saying, “I’m sorry I kept you so long. You’re free now, little bird.” As she gives Furina the humanity she desperately wanted for centuries. There’s my weekly rant about how emotionally connected I am to these characters lol :3

I can't believe we went from a magic show all the way to the death of a literal archon in the span of 5 quests, sprinkled with some casual apocalypse.
