Just watching this video this morning, and had to chuckle at your, “If I had a bigger sketchbook…” comment. That’s exactly how I’ve accumulated things. :). Great job!

This is my favourite video of yours so far, Taria. And, I've been with your channel near the getgo. Everything you said hit home and ticked all the boxes to build my confidence, and I'm sure many others starting this Urban Sketching journey feel the same.
I ended up Sketching half my kitchen while the Byriani was simmering. Instead of cleaning as I go, I left out all the herbs and spice jars, the crazy amount of utensils, cutting board with off-cuts, and pots n pans, so it was quite messy. But, as you say, it documents that moment for reminiscing far later.
Turned out quite reasonable 😊
Thinking about that, how on earth do the cafe and foodie sketchers capture their delectable dishes without the food going cold?! Clearly my eyes are bigger than my belly so I would not do well in that scenario, lol.
