I hate creaky doors too. Our bedroom door is horrible, but I never thought of it as a free security system.

If you want a ‘squeaky door’, hang a bell. 🔔 He hung it so the door would hit the ringer on the inside of the bell, less chance of knocking it off the ceiling.
It does the same job but sounds better.

This happened to me twice this past week!!!! A friend asked me about the clothes I was wearing when we were travelling in the car and I've been inundated with ads from the companies I mentioned! They are indeed listening!

YES our phones are listening to our casual conversations even when it's in our pocket and we think it's not "on." My son-in-law had the same thing happen to him last year. I'm working on a solution.

Received ads within 24 hours after talking on the phone about it. Thought at first it was a coincidence but, not after it happened numerous times since watching for it.

What's even freakier about the ads is when they pop up when you just think about a product. I didn't talk about it, didn't search it, but I thought it and boom, a couple hours later came the ad. I'm hoping it was coincidence or how they lead your thoughts with other ads, that kind of thing.

I got adds for a particular cereal that I was looking for in Walmart within the hour of me looking and I never looked anything up on my phone!!

I hate squeaky doors too. I never talk to anyone about it, I just get the WD-40 and fix it. No arguing about it. Lol. As a side note my best friend dad put a bell on the outside doors so he would know when the kids would get home.

Totally the truth! Everyone notices how when you search a product ANYWHERE ONLINE, you suddenly get ads everywhere. But when you are at a big box store and you and your kid look at a couple of gardening items then come home to be suggested those NEARLY EXACT ONES, that's just crazy. Our phones are listening all of the time. What was weird about this day was, we never mentioned the name, or type of product. It was an indoor plant sprayer/mister. I thought it would be great for seedlings. We DO NOT use smart TVs, but we have gaming systems and cell phones. Very often we get suggested videos on here that pertain to a conversation and not an actual search. God bless you guys, love the new chicken nest.

I have those things pop on my computer also. My husband and I were talking about buying a carpet cleaner and I promise the next day there were all sorts of carpet cleaner ads on my laptop. I love, love your channel and all of that wonderful information that you supply us with. Have a blessed day.

Love seeing your new nesting boxes for clean eggs. That was awesome!
My latest experience with devices listening was yesterday. I was helping one of my girl's with her newborn baby & enjoying all of those baby faces. Baby makes this face where her little forehead wrinkles up. My daughter says " "It's a Kasson thing." referring to the little forehead wrinkles.
Minutes later I grab my phone & on YT there's an add for a tee shirt. In big letters it says 'It's a Kasson thing.' Above in smaller letters 'You wouldn't understand.'
