MMT is solid. It’s a descriptive of how our system works. It’s non political. Imagine being a medical doctor and not understanding anatomy? That’s the situation with today’s economic environment.

A very interesting item and I hope to hear more about this. Here in the UK the left are desperate to get rid of neoliberalism and move on to something better and this is the sort of thinking that is needed.

Thank you for taking the time to make a video and respond to my comments
While Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) may offer potential solutions for economic stability and poverty alleviation, it doesn't address systemic issues like unequal opportunity, historical injustices, and cultural influences that perpetuate poverty cycles. Addressing these deeper societal issues requires comprehensive social, political, and economic reforms beyond just monetary policy. It's essential to consider a holistic approach to tackling poverty and inequality.

Maybe it's already too late the wealth is already spread unequally

How will our elites know they are rich if the poor are not suffering?

Why would it surprise me that Unicorns and Rainbows is the answer?
Do folks not grok the simple idea that $$$ is used to buy actual THINGS in the world?
If you increase the $$$ without increasing the THINGS, then the THINGS rise in price.
There's more $$$ chasing the THINGS.
