News Wave! - Bravely Default Teased For The Switch And Did Nintendo's Online Service Get Delayed?

During the lead up to the holidays, an image was posted to the Bravely Default Twitter account that seemed to tease a Switch release of some kind with Bravely Default artwork included alongside Switch Joycon controllers and the system. Websites spotted a Fall 2018 release date listed on Nintendo Italy website and it started to spread that the Online Service wouldn't launch until late next year. While this could still be the case, it looks like this may have just been a mistake.

Since Nintendo has waited this long to give us the paid Nintendo Switch Online I'd rather wait for them to get it right.
I hope they give us modern online features, native voice chat, a robust virtual console (rumored: adding multiplayer to some older games), all the apps we'd want on a hybrid console (youtube, netflix, twitter, twitch), and I hope they finally embrace and support gamers (your channel, other Nintendo channels, twitch streamers, etc) this time around by allowing you to post videos about Nintendo games without automatically de-monetizing them. Nintendo needs to realize that free advertising is great and demonetizing discourages that.

The fact that Nintendo is delaying the Online service might sound bad to some people, but to me, it's great news because Nintendo is more than likely working on making it the best for your money rather than releasing a rushed Online Service you have to pay for (I.E. PSN before PS4 Online Paid Service)

The bravely default devs are the Project Octopath Traveler dev team, They're most likely teasing ports of Default and Second, rather than a sequel since they're still working on POT.

My guess right now is that (if the service will be delayed) is probably because their are working on upgrading the system with better functionality, like voice chat & etc.

What I'm worried about is that if they wait too long, casual gamers who just got a switch will be ignorant about the whole situation. Like, we fans know paid online is coming. But someone who just got a switch, regularly plays it and suddenly sees he can't play his game unless he pays could be weirded out. Nintendo needs to stress and market to the new switch owners that paid online is coming, so that the new consumers won't be surprised once it lands
