Robert has worked at Uber since 2016. During this time he has contributed to a major transportation reform in Finland, supported the Uber Eats business in the UK, and built relationships with unions across the Nordics. He follows the changing world of work also on the board of directors of one of Finland’s oldest private employment agencies. Before joining Uber, Robert had his own campaigning consultancy and worked in Finnish politics in various advisor roles.
Rebecca Filis is a strategist and expert in Sharing Economy at the Swedish Tax Agency. In 2016, she was the Head of the Tax Agency´s task group for the analysis of how the Sharing Economy effects the tax system, and has since then been engaged in questions concerning the tax challenges that appears in new business models and gig economy. Rebecca Filis has experience from experimental ways of working with policy innovation in order to achieve and create user values in the field. She has a master degree in Law, and has for several years been working with leadership and strategic development in the Tax Agency. She also has experiences from doctoral studies in company- and tax law, and teaching at the Master of Law program at the University of Uppsala.
Donnie has been working with entrepreneurship and innovation for over 25 years, both running his own companies or helping others start theirs. For the past 10 years he has helped shape and build KTH Innovation, the innovation support office at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden that is considered to be one of the best in the world. He is an appreciated speaker on innovation and creativity, having spoken at 5 TEDx events and been part of 3 separate TV-series on innovation. He is the founder of the Entrepreneurs Without Borders Foundation, helping founders start and grow sustainable businesses that can employ and Donnie feels strongly that job creation is one of our biggest challenges, now and future.
