Multiplying and Dividing Integers

In this video we explain how to multiply and divide integers. How do we multiply two integers together? We determine the sign of the product, and then multiply the absolute values of the numbers together. We can then attach the previously found sign to our product. Basically, if the signs are the same (-)(-), or (+)(+), the answer is positive. If the signs are different (-)(+), or (+)(-), the answer is negative. How do we divide integers? Again we determine the sign of the quotient. If the signs are the same, the answer is positive. If the signs are different, the answer is negative. Afterwards, we just divide the absolute values of the numbers, and attach the previously found sign to the quotient. We also discuss how to multiply more than two integers together.
