How to buy tickets to Disneyland and make reservations | UPDATED AND FIXED!!

I've been made aware of a little hack for multi-day tickets. If one of the days you want is OUTSIDE of the 60 day window, you can still book the first day. 2 day ticket for example, book the first day you want and the day BEFORE the first day. Then come back tomorrow, cancel the placeholder day you don't and book the new 2nd day. Video to follow on FreshBakedPresents.

ALSO CORRECTION: There are tiered park hoppers. I conflated a previous situation where previously purchased park hoppers, pre-covid, were all given tier 5 status when making reservations today.

If you purchase your multi day ticket from a 3rd party such as Undercover Tourist or Get Away Today, and then link to your Disney Account, you could then book your Park Pass Reservations one day at a time as they become available instead of waiting until all of your days are available.

what is the purpose of the reservation? not sure I did it right, I have a theme park reservation confirmation number but am I suppose to have a QR code for that ? I also have two tickets with QR codes, and ticket confirmation numbers

Park hoppers are available in other tiers. I have a tier 3 park hopper for the end of June

So with how it was done previously, I am able to change reservations and my tickets are good until January 2023 (just in case out of state guests are not allowed for the dates we chose). I am assuming that is still the case, unless those tickets are directly tied to those dates and you can't make changes. I guess the best way to check is to go in after the tickets are purchased and dates selected and see if you can make changes. I'm guessing Disney wouldn't be THAT restrictive, would they?

I seen other videos and I was scared that I didn’t do a reservation like they had said but this helps me calm down cuz it does the ticket and reservation at the same time if I’m not mistaken
