This Machine Gun Deals Double Damage

This Machine Gun deals double damage. Hammerhead is one of only a few weapons that get two damage perks. In the first column it gets rampage which increases your damage temporarily after every kill, going up to 33% more damage. Then in the other column it gets a few damage perks but I prefer killing tally for another 30% damage buff also by getting 3 kills. So it basically doubles the effect of rampage and if you’re using void weapon surges on your boots, this Machine Gun deals double damage.

Rampage x3 = +33%
Killing Tally x3 = +30%
Void Weapon Surges x3 = +22%
(1.33 x 1.3 x 1.22) = 2.1x damage

I spent all of Into the Light grinding for a shiny of this exact roll!
All my friends were going for the standard rampage onslaught roll, which is great. But i had my eyes on this.

After 100's of drops I finally did get the roll. Wasn't a shiny one though. Still absolutely smacks when its revved up

And a heavy ammo mod, you virtually never have to use a different gun if you have any exotic equipped. One or 2 kills will drop heavy bricks

I have a roll with rampage and killing tally. I can confirm it shits on bosses with rampage and killing tally both activated!

I got one with Fourth/Target lock. It isn’t a 60% dog buff but it gets the job done

Then on titan you can pair this up with Actium War Rig for the ammo since killing tally resets after reloading. 🙂

I think I hit the jackpot with a shiny hammerhead that has swappable perks in both columns.

Rampage and target lock in one column plus killing tally and fourth time's in the second column.
