I agree with you, I've bought TOO MANY celebrities and inexpensive perfumes just to build my collection but I would have been better off just saving my money to buy designer fragrance that last and smell much better. I have learned my lesson too.

Hej Gabi, In the gadzillion of frag videos I´ve seen from people all over the globe, there has been this kind of common perception of when you " first try on" or " first open and spray" a perfume, which means that there is something going on with the "air sealed" inside and then the "activation" when you first trigger the spray....in plain simple words the oxygenation of the perfume....that is why most of the time, we get the first heavy alcohol coming out. I also have experienced that many many times, when I buy a new perfume, I try it and then I wait a week or even more time, it´s like a completely new one, I get to really smell it and distinguish the notes and really appreciate it, so all in all....we must learn to give the frags a chance to develop! Example I bought the beast mode Michael Kors Signature Perfume, I could not tolerate it the first time, it was white floral sooo strong....and now after many months after, I tried it again and I loved it, it´s gorge!!!
I´m trying to get out of my comfort zone and I am experimenting more on the " unisex" vibe... I have started with some cheapies, from Zara of course, just bought Warm Black ( went trending, was completely sold out for 2 weeks ago) I really like it and I am waiting for a so-called smell alike of BR540 "Night Pour Homme and 2 other more that are smell alike Dior Homme EDP / Intense the OGs!

You are just glowing from your vacation! I tried Lolitaland because of you and loved it so much that I bought a backup! I adore Black Opium, but think I’ll just stick with the original. I know the lasting power isn’t great, but I’ve never found a dupe that smells as good. I’ve always enjoyed fragrances and owned several, but didn’t get into it as a hobby until quarantine. But ironically, I haven’t found anything that I love as much as what I had before officially collecting, which were La Vie Est Belle and Black Opium. I guess I’m just basic. Thank you for sharing your final thoughts on these frags.
