Christine, I really like your channel. I'd like to ask you something. I watched your video about "I've" and you addressed something I sometimes hear from American and that is that most say "I've" as "av", not pronouncing the diphthong but saying just the vowel "a" and the consonant "v". You said it was wrong but I hear it mostly in songs. My question is just to confirm: do they really just say "av" or something else happens in this pronunciation that I missed?

I listen to a song where the singer says "I've been to the bottom, I've been to the top" and I can assure that I hear just "av".
