Totally agree with the P&S paint prep/glass cleaner. I did the same thing and used on glass because I got polish on it and wanted to wipe off quickly. I had a rag with that on it and just used it. I kept cleaning glass with that for a bit before noticing it said Glass on the jug. Works great.

I use air(leaf blower) on my cars. I use way less rags. I still use rags to dry but way less then I used to.

DON’T SLEEP ON CARPRO…get some Perl…dilute it 1:1…use it for tire shine…best in the business and extremely economical. You can even dilute it more for interior detailing and exterior plastics.

For car interiors that are more maintenance type I like using ONR diluted 256:1

meguiars cemaric wax is good for 3-6 months protection and even longer if you maintenance it

That KleenTech tire and wheel cleaner is super nice. It's about the only thing I enjoy as much as my Shine Supply Wise Guy or Nanoskin non acid wheel cleaner (when I'm patient enough to wait on the shipping or plan ahead that is). On the real though for anybody that can buy in large quantities or doesn't mind shipping, I would highly recommend Nanoskin, not strictly because of the value proposition either, I find it to be every bit as good as the two others I talked about.

To be fair though I tend to be more impressed by the tire cleaning side of things and value a chemicals ability to clean tires moreso than wheels. I find that most of the time a good iron remover is enough for wheels and if it's not I'll usually go with an acid wheel cleaner anyway.

Speaking of tire cleaning, hands down one of the best chemicals I've found for it is the Turtle Wax wheel and tire cleaner. I don't mean the pink hyperfoam stuff I mean the cheapest lowest line wheel and tire cleaner they have at wal mart and other places. I'm pretty sure it's a very very similar chemical to Carpro retyre but it's only like $3-$5 bucks most places.
