Guys, this is not another regular review of NordVPN - I’ll focus only on the pros & cons and dig out the stuff people often fail to mention.

NordVPN PROS

⭐ Easy to use interface
Their map is super useful to quickly find the server I need.
⭐ RAM-based servers
Once the server is restarted, all data is wiped out from it.
⭐ Lots of privacy-focused features
DoubleVPN, Onion over VPN, obfuscated servers.
⭐ The Dark Web Monitor
It monitors the dark web for any leaked info.
⭐ Threat protection feature - it stops me from accessing dangerous sites, blocks trackers, and gets rid of intrusive ads.
⭐ Great speeds
During my most recent NordVPN speed test, it once again proved to be a speed demon. The speeds are not only fast but stable too.
⭐ Great for streaming
I do get a couple of errors from time to time, but with some patience and server changing, I usually get what I need. So, at least for now, NordVPN is my first choice when it comes to streaming.

NordVPN CONS

💥 MacOS apps are a bit lacking
Apps on the app store and on their site are different.. So, the web version has more recent updates, but it only supports the OpenVPN tunneling protocols. Also, the kill switch works only for specific apps.
💥 No split tunneling for Apple devices
It’s more so Apple’s fault, but I still would love to see such a feature, it’s very handy when you don’t need a device-wide VPN connection.
💥 Not all servers are P2P optimized
Though it automatically reroutes my traffic through a NordVPN download-optimized server whenever it detects P2P, so it’s not TOO much of a problem.
💥 Complicated router set-up
The process is not that user-friendly, especially if you’re a beginner.

Is NordVPN worth it? For me - yes, but that’s also up to you. If the mentioned cons aren’t crucial, I suggest trying NordVPN subscription. Or, you could grab the NordVPN free trial, test it for a while, and decide if it’s something that you’re looking for.

Any VPN that can be disabled with one click is not secure at all. The kill switch is a bit of protection but why are vpns able to be disconected with one click? why is it designed to be disabled so easily for hackers?

It is a joke from all aspects: program, support and so on. On internet it is promoted as one of top 5 vpn's for China. Surprise, is not working on android for more that one month, and windows app is down from 6 months ago. I asked on support when will be fixed.... Probably never.
