With cold and flu season around the corner, as well as concerns about COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses, those working in the office may have questions about what they can do if a co-worker comes in sick.

Employment experts say there's some things you can do, including most importantly, speaking with management about potential policies in place. But doctors say what's still needed is for paid sick leave to be available nationwide.

Sean Previl reports on some of the options you have, and what doctors want to see happen more widely.

Experiencing only allergy signs and symptoms are not the same thing as being sick with an infectious disease. After making a full recovery from an infectious disease a student or an employee should never be stigmatized for the rest of their lives because of it. Nor should anyone as a student or as an employee today from a minority be stigmatized only because during history people from that minority experienced higher rates of suffering from one or more kinds of diseases and illnesses in the past.

Before covid I would goto work sick with the flu and get my co workers sick. Then I followed the covid rules to stay home when I was sick. It made my co workers mad so now I don’t care how sick I am they will be able to enjoy everything I get again.
