Robert Shaw died of a heart attack but was a heavy drinker for years and was driving with his wife to cottage and was having chest pains and stopped his car to walk off the pain when he collapsed. Humphrey Bogart was a heavy drinker but also smoked 4-5 packs a day unfiltered cigarettes for over 20 years when died of esophageal cancer in 1957 at age 57. John Wayne died of stomach cancer in 1979 brought on by over 30 years of smoking 4-5 packs a day of cigarettes and he did drink heavily to but was exposed to radiation on a film set in 1956 that eventually many of cast and several crew members including the director died of various cancers even though most also smoked heavily.

my grandpa almost drank himself to death, and he is absolutely amazing bc even though he had a really bad addiction, he managed to quit right then and there by himself. he hasn’t drank since.

Come on!!! Some of the people in this video died of cancer and heart disease. One actor was 90 years old.What did he do start drinking at 75. Pretty sure 90 is just passing of old age.

Glen Ford died at 90, I’ve seen people live a healthy lifestyle and die way sooner than 90. I think we can with a positive certainty say that Glen Ford didn’t die of acute alcoholism.
