Hey - really enjoyed that thanks. Short but sweet! I'm a UI designer hoping to move into the audio industry. If you had any in-depth video tutorials that would be awesome!!

t would be interesting to see a video where you develop a GUI from scratch. Do you perhaps start everything in 3D first, maybe for better textures and lighting, and so on? Maybe something a bit more educational. 😄 We're looking forward to seeing that process. In any case, your work is excellent!

I tried to design a ham radio front panel recently using Cinema 4D, i guess the principles are the same for any photorealistic hardware device render. I'm wondering if there is any kind of tutorial available on how to break apart and export different renders, and create bitmap sprites, for example for all the button states (default, half-pressed, pressed and so on..). What is the standard workflow? I've been searching online but there aren't that many resources available.

What kind of software are useful for project gui? I think that sometimes are designed with 3D software especially when they emulate old instruments.

hi there i am young student and i am interested in what concerns VST skin design. I admire your work and how you presented your care into details. Now, there are some questions and some topic i cannot really get my head around, even there are tons of tutorial online for everything today. Hope somebody can give me some hints. i feel a bit lost. i use figma, illustrators, photoshop. and have some basics skills on blender. Creating a basic interface on figma, with gradients and shades is fine. But when i see those materials and fine grain of your product, i assume : you also use mutiple softwares correct? like some skin-surfaces bases, like frames are done in 3D, or some like buttons, knobs with their shadows and rendered, correct? How much is photoshop used in this process to acieve some kind of "realism" with materials? help!
