What if the vehicle had been stopped somewhere and information taken? ALWAYS REPORT STOLEN VEHICLES. Some times a traffic camera will get a picture of the driver. The compressor and trailer show up stolen and the idiots get caught trying to pawn or sell on FB. You have nothing to lose by reporting it stolen. (And some departments DO take fingerprints if they have the time).

I was thinking this story was going to go like what we did back in the day. We left a work truck in a hay field and forgot about it! 3 months later recovered it.
