He was great as Garp, very interested in seeing more of him..
Garp in the source material is not someone very much present all the time, but is impactful in a certain arc that Vincent is now aware of..
and recently, very recently, his power was shown in full force..the old man he is yet dangerous.

I still remember seeing the casting announcement for season 1 of One Piece. and while I haven't really had the pleasure of seeing Vincent Regan in much, his role and performance in 300 left an impression on me that made me excited seeing him cast as Garp. While the liveaction character of Garp is quite different, he was still a pleasure to experience, and hopefully the future seasons shift him more towards his source material counterpart - we saw a little of it here and there.
Should we get far enough, him opposite whoever might be Sengoku could be comedy gold XD

I watched every single one piece episode. I liked the show because it's captures One Piece essence. There is no way they can replicate it exactly, however I think this is as good as a live action can get.
