Showing Up For This Little Guy Today

Spending some time with the Moog Mavis this morning.

I find the learning curve of the Mavis a little more challenging and it pushes me more into the fully modular realm. So how do I get more comfortable with that? Spend more time with it of course. I had ALL the intention of using at least one patch cable, but I didn't get there today

I'm putting it through a Moog MF102 Ring Modulator and the Walrus Audio Sloër Ambient Reverb.

Cool Mavis, considered getting one, but got a preowned Dreadbox NYX instead

Sounds great with the MF102 and the Sloer (I have the latter and love it). You could have patched CV and Gate from your Grandmother or Matriarch and played the Mavis from an actual keyboard too.

i bought the mavis with the idea of eventually upgrading to the grandmother but honestly it's so much fun i don't think i will, my only gripe with it is that the attenuator isnt voltage controlled, why on earth
