Downey as Doom is an absolute casting fail. They're gonna do a "Kraven" on this character. Downey is Tony Stark, plot devices notwithstanding. He is small and has no darkness in his voice. He does not need the acting gig so maybe Downey needs the attention, but can't think that he doesnt get it now. He's Robert Fucking Downey ffs.

Dr doom isn't going to be a bad guy. He'll just seem to be one at first and the reason he's doing it is to save all universes. He's creating a team for the secret war against an unknown evil force.

It feels very rushed and artificially built up.
I just am not feeling the emotional investment in the multi-verse "saga" and some of the characters & plot points. The team is being thrown together with alot of B-level characters and films. The Kang debacle has not helped either.

Its literally just the same as how infinity war and endgame came out..
Thanos collected stones and Doom will collect those items.
It will be a final battle of a movie and then avengers fail.
Then in Secret wars, just like endgame, it would be avengers going to the past and attacking doom and then it would come to the present in which, only doom will fight rather than how thanos did with his entire army.
But thats very good actually and may be one of the best new marvel movies we will get...

I think doomsday is doom creating incursions well gathering or doing whatever it is to set up. And secret wars is Doom successfully achieving his goal in Doomsday and taking multi universe super heros puts them all on the last planet to fight. That's where Xmen come in. And something to do with Loki and Richard's will reverse this and resetting the entire Marvel universe where the Xmen are now in it. And there comes the Soft Reboot.
