I made it a personal tradition to pour myself a glass of wine on the first day of each class in college.

A few things I’ve seen at college:
-the cafeteria hotboxed with vapes and carts. Security joined too.
-an entire class leaving their classroom solely because a cat walked by and they wanted to pet it
-a girl brought a family pack from Dennys and ate the whole thing throughout the 3 hour class
-a dude brought his two little siblings and told them if they took notes, they could get ice cream after. The professor even answered their questions.
-personal favorite: a dude decided to practice his trumpet walking the halls. My professor (who also was my high school history teacher) ran into the hallway, caught him and demanded he play Careless Whisper. He did, and was tipped $20 before being told to go to a specific room and do the military thing. My professor got an angry phone call ten minutes later.

The thing about college is that teachers have the understanding YOU’RE paying for the class, YOU’RE the one who has to pay twice for the same class. In HS they literally fail u if u miss too many days or cops will show up to ur door depending on ur age.

Yeah. All throughout highschool I was told all these things about college: how much harder it was going to be, how you couldn't get away with stuff, how much trouble you'd be in for this and this and this, etc. Then I went. Chillest version of school I have ever had.
