Don't forget to write the date of when you start using a toiletry product on the bottle with Sharpie, like shampoo or a cleaning product. When it's empty, write down the start date and the day it finished. It will give you an idea of how much you use it and then you can plan to budget for that. This is how I figured out anytime that my roommates were using my shampoo and conditioner. One time it was so obvious because I ran out of all my soap, shampoo, and conditioner in a week after buying. 😭I found out they were using the products for their kid's bubble bath. The father would literally empty half bottle of shampoo or bubble bath into the tub. When his wife, our other roommate and I heard this. We were all shocked. No one had ever taught him how much of each product to use or how to conserve anything. Toilet paper packs were bought like every 2 days. I started hiding my stuff in my car.

I watch a lot of these to get motivated to pick it back up. I managed to survive on $123 - $300 biweekly paycheck for a year or so when I first moved out. I do have two kids by the way and this method saved us there is no doubt about that. Now a days I make a steady income working 8-5. However, this is still extremely helpful for us.

I used to do this for all my bills. I used a plastic bendable recipe holder from the dollar tree and loved it. Nice work saving on a small budget 💜

Love your priorities! Food--$5, Cats--$50! I spend more on my cats than I do on myself. I could probably be a millionaire (well, at least a 'thousand-aire') if I didn't have cats, but I decided years ago to make animal welfare a priority.

Every two years we upgrade our phones on Black Friday to get the Walmart gift cards, and that is what we use to buy the rest of Christmas that year 🙃 🎄 This year however is no stress simple Christmas 🌲 the best kind in my opinion ❄️☃️🥰
