Former Seattle police Chief Adrian Diaz is on paid administrative leave, according to Detective Patrick Michaud, a department spokesperson.

The police department would not go into further detail because it's a pending personnel matter.

Diaz was removed from the Seattle Police Department’s top leadership role in May and reassigned to special projects within the department.

PAID leave is a joke. Why should they get paid to NOT work?

Just give a woman that job to be over with it.

The city 'leaders' want to raise your taxes, however, after removing the now ex-chief from his job, they pay the ex-chief for unspecified work, then when the ex-chief fowled up that job, he gets put on paid leave, and files a $10, 000, 000 claim against the city.

Citizens of seattle: YOUR tax dollars at work, remember, you voted for this!

SPD is a good police department? Lmao, by what measurement?? When you’ve had federal oversight and six chiefs and multiple lawsuits…that is NOT considered a sign of quality.

This is pure garbage. And a disgrace people should not support this or what he did.!!

Take a deep look into why Seattle cannot keep a police Chief and why each one they’ve had in the last 15 - 20 years was hired (qualifications and service record). Let’s look at the Mayors in charge during this same time period and their performance record.
