Move It On Over - Hank Williams - Ukulele Cover - Jez Quayle

I love the comical lyrics on this great Hank Williams song. The singer is literally in the doghouse! ...sharing it with the dog.
Some people cite this as a very early example of rock 'n' roll. Bill Halley's 'Rock Around the Clock' clearly owes a lot to this tune. Hank wrote and recorded 'Move It On Over' in 1947. It's a tough song to memorise, as not only are there lots of verses, but every chorus is different ...are they still choruses if they're different every time? ...hmmmm.

Good stuff Jez. I love this song. Hank had so many good songs. You have inspired me again Jez. I just uploaded my first song on Youtube. It is Lonesome Whistle, by Hank Williams. It is titled, Lonesome Whistle: Ukulele. Garry mac an Tanaiste. I am going to get a Go Pro soon. I love all of your song choices.

Best Uk cover version of the song I have seen yet. What Key are you playing the song in please? I can not see you chord shapes that well.
