I started decorating last week but with having ADHD, it takes me a LOT longer to do things than most people. And I overestimate how many things I can do in a day, so that’s why I started early. Plus I’m finally feeling better mentally so I just wanted to start with Christmas early. I’m nowhere near done yet but I started!

I actually start decorating in November by hiding decorations in plain sight. The kids and husband then spend time finding the ones I hide each day. I only put out a new decoration each time one is found so if everyone is good at finding them, the house is decorated sooner. We put up the tree and any other decorations on December 1st.

We decorate our place on or around the 25th November as that day is my grandmother’s birthday and even though she’s not here anymore she to me is Christmas morning. She had a heart of gold!! ✨✨
