Hi there, I wonder if you could explain why you put the arrow on the coflex bandage? What does that signify and why did you use it? I'm looking for a way to bandage my dog's lower neck, just where it joins with the shoulder blades (on top side). I think she got bit or stung by something (she doesn't have fleas or dermatitis) just under the collar, and scratched until she cut a nickel-sized flap of skin loose. I cleaned it thoroughly and trimmed off the flap of skin, gave her a Benadryl to ease the itching and applied an ointment that contains lavender to speed healing and ease the sting. However, due to her being part dachshund, she is extremely low-slung--when I tried to wrap the bandage (to help keep her from scratching and keep wound clean) I started at the narrow end of her neck and worked toward the shoulder. The whole thing either slides up or when she lowers her head, rolls up under her neck and gets too tight. Any ideas? Thank you for the demo on the head bandage!
