In Dragon Ball Z, Goku and Vegeta had to step up their game constantly and train in extreme conditions like intense gravity, but what would that do to a normal human body? Kyle goes over 9000 to find out on this week’s Because Science!

Because Science every Thursday.

Geez, and people give YAMCHA a hard time. He survived 300Gs and once he turned the gravity chamber off, he just stood up again and a little out of breath. If anyone should be hated on for being weak, it's US!

He can draw backwards without looking. This dude is actually a legend

THIS WAS SO AWESOME and INFORMATIVE! :D DBZ was the reason I started training from a chubby anime fanboy getting bullied and beaten up everyday to doing Martial Arts and Weight Training so seeing science applied to my biggest fitness motivation is PHENOMENAL but if we humans cant train at 100 x earths normal gravity at least we can do 100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 squats and 10km of running everyday. All ya gotta do is get it done in One punch, man

Thor explaining DB science. I wanted to know about how capsule corp contain large vehicles in their capsules like Ant Man does.

Okay, so, theoretically, if you trained via the Master Roshi-style and simply lived your day-to-day live at, say, 2 G's, your body would eventually get used to it, yeah? Then after a couple weeks of living like that, you'd take the gravity back down to 1 and feel superhuman. Does that fit the science?

I think Kyle is who girls are talking about when they say they want a nerdy guy.

So this video means that Yamacha NEVER had a chance. #yamachad

question. in one piece the character black leg Sanji can spin so fast on one foot that his foot becomes burning white hot. How fast would one need to spin to achieve this?

I think for human 1.2G's would be perfect for training, just imagine the increased bones density and muscle strength if you train in it for an hour a day.

Uhm... your video didn't quite answer the IMPORTANT questions, which would be: Can a human being adapt to higher levels of gravity, if he trains and ups the gravity level very slowly? Like, 1.001g/day? Or maybe even slower, if necessary? If so, what would be the highest possible gravity level a human being who undergoes this slow procedure could live at? And how much gravity could this peak-gravity-trained human being tank in short bursts? And how much stronger could he get? These are the REAL questions about this topic.

Thoughts on the Nimbus Cloud:
What if... Magic? No, that's stupid. We need a science answer.
What if... the Nimbus is not made of water? I mean clouds in DBZ are white for the most part, except Nimbus which is yellow for some reason. So it must be made of a different material that's been vaporized. Maybe Neodymium and Goku's weighted boots (weighted with a magnet that repulses) floats up on the cloud making it look like he's all pure of heart and stuff when he's just floating on a magnetic wave.
But this leads to a new problem. How is the cloud then held together at different altitudes or at all? How does it propelled itself? What if.... Magic?

How it is to be super dead? Is it like a regular dead but they give you a cape?

what about max human strength? muscle mass, bone density... how strong can you get?
also if you get used to 3g, like blood vessel strength and heart muscle, can you gradually go up more?

I wish he did a video explaining what would happen if someone had trained their body to progressively get used to stages of gforce like if some slept G1 for 2 days or day then rested and gradually went up and so on.

That's the quickest Super Sayian transformation I've ever seen. Forget Goku or Vegeta, Kyle is the real Sayian master^^

1:22 Okay, nice skills. But next video you should draw a square with your right hand and a circle with your left hand.
