(chuckles) I love how the intro on this video almost sounds like an advertisement: "Tired of apocalypses that never happen? Well, HERE'S THE ASTEROID FOR YOU!" XD

The real concern is CERTAINLY NOT asteroids. It is cometary fragments in the Taurid meteor stream that we pass through twice a year. Both the Tunguska and Chelyabinsk Events occurred because of fragments from this stream. I would be really curious to hear your opinions on these risks as it is rumored that we will be in a particularly dense section of the stream for the next 40 years or so. Thanks! Love your work!

Anton but asteroids have nearly 0% of chance to hit earth at the 90 degree angle as you do in the video. Even on the NASA website it is clearly stated that the kinetic energy is calculated on 45 degree angle of collision course.

Note the tsar bomb was detonated at only half of its potential it was built to go up to 100megatons.
Also note that the 50megaton detonation shattered windows in Berlin and the shockwave crossed the earth multiple times.
Not something we want hitting anywhere.

Those asteroids would cause an extinction event because an ice age would follow. Plus if it landed in the Atlantic ocean it would cause a massive tsunami that would take out all the coastal cities including London and New York. It would put a lot of people back in the stone age.

Your simulation also didn't appear to take into account atmospheric burn off of the asteroid. Even if it were solid iron, some would still burn away.

I think i may have seen a meteroid. Let me explain:
So i was in the car, with my dad and mom, and one time i seen a pretty bright (not too big) object and by a few seconds, it got less and after 1 second, it faded

The most dangerous asteroids are the ones we haven't found yet.

These simulations you do the way you explained it got my eyes glued to your Channel

pretty sure that the angle of impact of the comets you are launching is affecting how damaging they are

I ran that sim for a few hours, and after 500 years, didn't have one Earth impact. o.O. It's rather impressive, tho, seeing the Earth weave thru so many dangerous objects!

10:40 small correction: cities cover about 3% of all land surface. Not of the entire earth. As that would be less than 1%.

What I'd like to see is a study that tells us where the worst possible spot earth can get hit by an asteroid that it would effect most of the planet.
