I use the G7X, as I love the flip screen - it is my favourite! For someone who just started blogging, I am not used to where I should position the camera in front of me to know if I am getting myself in the screen, so the flip screen really does help me see where I am on the screen so I wouldn't get disappointed if my face doesn't get in the picture. Not only for vlogging but I also like taking selfies when I go anywhere alone, and instead of wasting time doing trial an error on the camera doing selfies, I use the flip screen, and I only have to click once. The G7X is very "one person" friendly if there's nobody around to take the footage for you.

Great video! I love that you can speak from experience about these cameras. A lot of people tend to make reviews and recommendations about stuff they just researched online or stuff they've only used for a few days.

I haven't made any videos yet with it, but I'm using the Olympus Stylus Tough TG-4. I got it because I'm living in the Philippines right now and I'm always doing underwater stuff, and it's so much more fun to have an underwater camera. Before I had to use an iPhone with a waterproof case. I've had this one for about 3 weeks now and so far, I love it. I'm about to vlog my trip to Palawan.

In the summer I wanted to upgrade my s110 vlogging camera. Really wanted to make the jump to the g7x, but as much as I tried I couldn't stomach or justify the hefty price tag, also considering that I don't really use my camera that often. I'm glad I chose the s120 instead as at the end of the day it actually fits in my pocket and is durable which is what a compact/travel camera is all about!

I agree with this video 100%! We debated getting the g7x but as daily vloggers just starting out, the s120 seemed like the best deal. We had the ELPH 340 before this one and that was okay, but was terrible in low light. The quality of the s120 is awesome. We always buy our cameras at Best Buy to get the protection plan because it covers accidental damage. Great video as always!

I've been using the Canon Elph 330 HS for over a year and I have beat the CRAP out of it! It no longer even has a shutter (dropped it on the pavement) but it's still going strong for video! I'd love to have the one with the flip screen but it would only be a matter of time until it was broken.
