Today would’ve been my mom’s birthday and I finally feel like I’m in a place where I’m at peace with her being physically away from me. True, that tomorrow I may miss her more than an average day but after 7-1/2 years of her passing, it’s a bit easier somehow. I know she’s living through me.
What she invested with her heart, her time, her body and her tears are living through me now as a mom myself. Her spirit can still be felt and seen through my life and my actions. Others can know all about her through me. Just like your brother. Always praying for your sis!
Heartache and grief is the price we pay for loving someone deeply. I’ll never trade away my grief of my mom’s absence, no matter how much it hurts. #cancersucks
