I began my etsy journey as in the digital download niche in January of 2023 and quickly realized it wasn't for me. Thank you for sharing! I used to sell on Poshmark but now I’m in an apartment and have little kids so I wanted something more passive and with no inventory. So far I’ve been doing tshirts. Just 1 sale in a week but I’m motivated!

Hi! I’m a bit confused… are you doing Print on Demand or are you printing your mugs yourself? POD is an actual business model where you make the designs but hand off the production part to a third party such as Printful or Printify. If you are making your own mugs, that’s awesome! It’s just not POD… technically I think it’d be called “handmade to order”. If you are actually printing and mailing your own mugs, you should definitely market yourself as Handmade because that could give you a real leg up :)

I know that eBay does not allow duplicate listings (at least not in the past, i learned that the hard way lol). I was wondering about Etsy. A quick google search gave me the following. I think you're good! "As a general rule, Etsy doesn't encourage the use of duplicate listings for the same thing. However, if the listings are in the same shop, and if the seller can fulfill both orders if both of them are purchased at the same time, it's within Etsy's policies to duplicate the listing."

Hey Lindsay! Loved this video! I just discovered you on my feed, so glad I did! So you make the mugs yourself? I don't think that's technically POD, although you are printing them on demand, but you're handling fulfillment, etc. You're doing an awesome job! Love your mugs. I do Etsy + POD T-Shirts and sweatshirts, thinking about expanding into other items. I've been selling for just shy of a month, no sales yet, but I'm working on it! I subbed, excited to watch your journey.

Wait.. you show your shop's name?? People didnt show it because it can ruin your shop! The conversion rate will be high and etsy will see your shop as not a good shop!

I'm just voicing my concern here. Please dont take it negatively 😊
