For some reason I never liked playing with dolls. I'd rather be outside playing. I was 11 when they came out with Barbie. My first thought was my mom wasn't going to keep buying clothes or accessories. I don't think she even asked me if I wanted one. I was pretty vocal about things I wanted.

And to those thinking that these replace babies that died no their not a replacement their just for comfort over loosing ones baby and for comfort for women who can't have babies I have them and have had them before I had my son because I thought I couldn't have any babies for the longest time turns out I could and had one baby. Turns out it was because of many years of birth control making me infertile. I got pregnant after the birth control left my system. Anyways thes baby silicone and reborns are very comforting emotionally to youre soul don't dought it until you try it or something like that. These realistic baby's are so comforting physically and emotionally. They make you feel good in holding them. I haves alot of them and other types of dolls to. I still collect them even if I haves only one child he's about 13 now he grew to fast. Thats why I like to hold and still buy them real babies grow way to fast.

My mom makes these dolls! There are a lot of seperate doll parts in our house, like heads and legs lying around, and she gets weird looks in public when she talks about professionally making babies, but it's a cool hobby!
