Here is the one and only M&C Sanitation ex City of Bakersfield Volvo Xpeditor WXLL Smart Truck Systems K7000 on route a few days after snowfall. "Brownie" as everyone at M&C Sanitation calls the STS still works hard and is in great shape. Which is amazing considering the Volvo is a 2001 and the STS is a 2002 and neither are manufactured anymore. Kosti and his team at STS sure designed a great truck, the K7000 has simple controls, great revving and fast speed even at 20 years old. It is great to see a truck body similar to the smooth sided Western Waste Stagg body that would service my house many years ago, it even has a little bit of Western Waste orange on the body. The scenery and routes in Cedar City are amazing and the STS recently had a new hopper floor welded so hopefully it will be around for many more years.

A big thank you to the the driver Johnny along with Craig and everyone at M&C Sanitation.

Awesome video! It is amazing to see a truck still running after 20 years. Loved the Revving as well. She sounded great too. The color looks pretty good. Glad you filmed this truck. Great work!

The driver sure doesn’t mess around on the throttle lol awesome to watch. Excellent work as always, pretty sweet to see an Ex Bakersfield unit at this age still roaming around strong.

This model is honestly one of the most underrated and underappreciated designs for commercial waste handling. Don't let that short blade fool you, these always packed a huge load very well and the follower basically reduced behind blade debris spillage to near zero. On top of that, they are extremely durable as long as the proper care is given. Loved those packer shots too! By the way did they remove the brake lights? I am surprised the D.O.T hasn't flipped their shit over that and yanked her off the road. Aside from that, this is one awesome truck.
