Enjoy the ups and down of my new Timberborn Badwater (Update 6) playthrough, this time with the Iron Teeth and a much harder map start. This series has it all: drama, stress, jubilation...these beavers are going to face every disaster and (hopefully!) survive! :-)

Where you placed the big water wheels, you should really close the gap where (bad)water is going next to the wheels, so you'll have more waterflow for your water wheels

The big wheel management is disastrous but funny to watch. With few blocks you could channel the water and increase the waterflow easily.

Since update 6, no need to remove path to lay down dynamite !!! :)
About path for wheels you can put 1 height on top of the running shafts and a path, useful for maintenance ;)

You should have made all your builders into bots then your beavers wouldn’t have gotten sick from the bad water.. loving the series ❤

I usually build the bad water plug ASAP (forgot the name of it), set it to always open and then use dynamite and levees to create a two tile deep channel for advanced power wheels connected to it. This way I get unlimited power that works during drought as well. Also, if you put the advanced power wheels into a proper water channel they can easily generate 500 or even 700 power each. I also dynamite most of the paths, connecting them to water to extend the farm area and put the power shafts under the platforms (delivering both water and power everywhere).

hp/cms is Horsepower per Cubic-Meter Seconds. Basically, for every cubic meters of water that move every second, the wheel generates 270 hp

Hi Biffa, another tip: your can pause construction of a structure by selecting it and then pressing space bar or clicking the pause button in its properties window. Doing that I find helps micromanage things when you are trying to prevent stuck beavers moreso than setting all of the construction priorities.

May I suggest looking at capping off a couple of those bad water springs? When you open them manually they will always flow consistently even during the drought.

To prevent Beavers from getting stuck, I have started to ALWAYS build my powerlines on a platform, with paths underneath. Not the most resource-effective way, but it DOES save me a lot of headaches.

using two 1 height platforms atop each other for the bigger water wheels you might be able to use the lower one for a path and the heigher one for power transmission maybe?

So for the large water wheels you don't need to climb on the two high platforms. Build two single platforms one on top of the other. That way the power and the water wheel support is above a walk way.

Build levees to channel the water into the big waterwheels to make them more efficient

26:13 there is steps right by there so you don't actually need to build any, i knew you would do that

Build your famhouses in the middle of the fields rather than the corners, that way they can reach both sides easier and faster(less walking back to the farmhouse after harvesting the furthest crops).

Hi Biffa. Big fan here. I strongly suggest blowing a trench under the big water wheels to generate large amounts of power. You will have to lower the large water wheels.

It doesn't calculate reachability for anything that can't be built until something else is built. This means if you put a water wheel on a platform it will only calculate the platform to see if they can reach it.

Maybe, put little storages where they work, for food and water, fuel for bots and so on?
It should make them happier

If you built a wall of Dams near the large waterwheels, you could focus all that water into a 2-wide gap, increasing the flow in a specific area, increasing the power output by a lot.
