About the brand, GUNAS is an independent high fashion label with a cause! Started in 2009 by designer and animal lover, Sugandh G. Agrawal, GUNAS's heart and soul screams to be the voice of animals. With an award winning design and business background, Sugandh quit her 7-year corporate career as an Industrial designer at KitchenAid to start her own brand of cruelty-free fashion in New York. Her mission is strong and clear. Animals are NOT meant to be a part of fashion. We can look and feel good without harming other living beings. Good for you Dawn for trying to be sustainable and purchasing vegan bags plus getting the word out! It is so great that there are more companies making vegan bags. Personally I noticed in this past year that I don’t need to buy clothes so often and have been managing very nicely with what I have! I would love to see a video of what’s in your other bag.

I fell in love with Portland Leather Goods and got 3 bags from them since October. They are leather though. I like a big bag too with option of a small clutch if I just want to go out briefly. I knit and cross stitch so that size is nice. I like both of your new bags. I think I like the blue the best!

Beautiful bags. Of course I had to hop over to the website and take a look around.🥰 I am not the greatest at choosing thoughtful over fast fashion, so this is a great reminder. One suggestion for you if you haven’t heard of them is Elegantees. They are as small company based in the US, but whose mission it is to keep women out of slavery, so they have some shops in Nepal. The items are generally between 40 and $80, and are extremely well-made and made with love. I actually received a thank you note from an a Nepalese woman who works for them, along with a coupon. It really brings home the point that our purchases have power one way or another. Great video! I love wearing navy blue in the summer too. Usually with red and or white and denim shorts or khaki skorts. Have a great rest of your week.
