2001 - 2005 Mazda Tribute / Ford Escape Alternator Change Improved

Just wanted to show you an easier way to remove the alternator from a 2003 Mazda Tribute ES 3.0L V6.

Thx mazda. What a pain in the butt just for a stupid alternator. We might as well dismantle it all just to get to it. I will never get mazda again.

This does work after plastic shroud has been removed the back shroud on the alternator has tiny 1/4 nuts that you can get to when you remove the three bolt holding it to the mount by rotating it in it's little compartment after you remove those get one or all three of the stud nut bolts on the back of the alternator just to give you more room same reverse just drop it down and put the stud back in before mounting

Gettin ready to replace the alternator on a 2006 tribute, when you pulled the intake off did you have to put new gaskets on it or not, thanks

Just pull it through anywhere, the rust will give way.

Show me how you got onto the alternator bolts, I got everything else done, that's what's holding me up
