Sorrel Soup

A great soup made with Sorrel picked fresh from Marycia's garden gives this soup a wonderful zesty bitter taste. This soup was also named The Depression Soup as sorrel will grow plentiful in any backyard garden and it doesn't cost very much to make. Possibly in a flowerpot on a sundeck, too.

I've got French sorrel growing in my herb garden, it's great 'cuz it's a perennial, came back about 5 years now but this year it doesn't seem as hardy and full of leaves like it used to be ..
