Pii got the world record on the booster course pass (bcp) DLC mk8dx wave 6 track: snes bowser castle 3 150cc, by doing a kusaan slide / kusaan airhop into the lava and falling off the track to cross the finish line. the discovery of this new tech allowed pii to set a new world record!

Of course, I had no idea what a Kusaan air-hop is, so that's why I couldn't do the trick the first time. New tricks, new stuff to learn, I guess. Hehe, that drift slide was fun, except _maybe_ it was a bit on the warmer side from all that HOT lava...

I love speedruns in racing games, unlike in most games getting through a track as fast as possible becomes a matter of milliseconds as players push it faster and faster. Take Trackmania for example where frequently players fight to shave off even .001 of a second to be the fastest it's just always intense how complex racing game speedruns can be I love this.
