This masterpiece from heaven became one of the most loved and listened to in the 70's and 80's. On Sundays played on Bell Tower ( RSA, Springbok radio) A very suited chorus to be sung at every Sabbath.

Wonderful. I was born on the same place in Halle, East Germany. He is tge greatest compositor together with Bach, Beethoven, Mozart of Germany. It was a very creative time

This is one of the best opera pieces ever written and one of my favorite arias. And the Tabernacle choir (I'm LDS) gives it a truly magnificent interpretation!
