THE SHOCKING TOY DEAL I NEVER THOUGHT I’D CONSIDER!

About 6 months ago, I bought Tommy’s insane Madballs and Madballs KO collection. He wanted to focus primarily on collecting the Mel Appel Weird Ball line. Mel Appel Weird Balls are an interesting hard to find line from the 1980s. It consisted of a few categories of knockoffs - primarily Madballs, M.U.S.C.L.E., Nutty Mads, Wrestling figs, Garbage Pail Kids, etc.

Fast forward 6 months, Thommy hit a dead end after completing over 80% of the collection. He didn’t want to straight up sell the collection…he wanted to trade it for one of my vintage toy collections! This was a tough decision!

I have been watching Froggy’s video for years. While I was shocked to see him trade the GPK collection, it makes sense. Over the years, the videos have changed along w Anthony and his collection. From garage sale hunting and videos from his garage to this crazy office with the amazing display and the big buys at toy shows. So happy for Froggy!

I gotta say, the respect and constant back and forth on giving each other deals in this trade really brings back a feeling of nostalgia trading toys/cards with friends as a kid.

I love how you edited in the finds as if the collection has been on a full journey. I know it was a tough deal to let them go, but you know what? At least you know what’s out there in the Garbage Pail Kids lines and you also know what’s a fair price for it all. You never know it might just turn up again. Compared to what you’ve got now? Bro, no chance of you finding a lot of that collection again, and in one place.

I know how long it’s taken you and how hard it’s been to find all them different Garbage Pail Kids items, So to see that you was considering trading them at the beginning of the video was quite a shock.
BUT to see what you was trading them for I knew that would be even more of a grail for you and think you came out of it really well.

HOLY CRAP!!! My brother and I used to play baseball out in front of the house with original Koosh Balls with one of those purple monster bats that was hanging under the shelf at 0:33.

Love watching your videos, I see so many of the toys and stuff that my brother and I grew up having as kids. Still have some, but most is long gone.
