EPA Region 8 hosted Colorado Governor Jared Polis and Colorado Chair of the Colorado State Board of Education, Rebecca McClellan to discuss some of the benefits that are already being seen from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. These funds are being utilized to purchase Electric Buses across the country. The Electric School Bus will be better for the environment, better for school budgets and better for kids health.

Colorado gets about 2/3rds of its electricity from fossil fuels. So, wouldnt this bus simply outsource "pollution" to power plants?

Where do these buses get energy from? Solar panels need to be replaced, wind energy needs blades replaced, and lithium still needs to be mined, not to mention the replacement of batteries over time and use. This does nothing but outsource the pollutants and increase operating costs while decreasing range and reliability. Focus on creating a better biodiesel.
