I present to you a gas burner for the forge..made from 1 inch pipe and with a nozzle manually enlarged with a 1 mm drill ..... the first attempt was with a 1/2 pipe but ... . it takes too long just for the metal to reach a dark red color approaching a temperature of 900 degrees Celsius .... at the 1 inch pipe I do not think it took more than 2 minutes for the metal to approach that bright yellow light .. so I think I'm sticking to the 1 inch pipe ..... I'm waiting for my MIG nozzles to order and ..... I'll see what improvements I can bring to the burner ... anyway for a second test with thicker pipe I am very pleased with the result, the metal deforms very easily at the action of the hammer .... I will come back with things made in the forge .... thanks for watching
